This volume represents one of the scientific results of the project “Good practices for protecting victims inside and outside the criminal process”, funded by the European Commission in the framework of the “Criminal Justice” program (Just/2011/JPEN/ AG/2901).The final part aims instead at analysing four specific aspects of the Directive (restorative justice; protection of victims of gender violence; treatment of vulnerability conditions; right to be compensated for damage) at national stage, by means of a comparative approach, in order to identify common features and possible “transplants” of those solutions that can be operatively effective and can be considered as “good practices” at an European level.
